What is UHave2Go!

Hey! Thanks for checking us out. Uhave2Go! is a photo sharing website for travel and photography lovers, and for everyone else in between who enjoy going places and discovering the new. Uhave2go collects travel photos and information about those places, events or activities you loved, and the goal is to become the go to site for inspiration to travel around the World and make the most out of the places you go to. Basically, inspire you to go... wherever it is that you want to go.

It all started with a few hundred travel photos from my trips through Asia and South America and one idea, UHave2Go!, a site that would be inspiration for others to travel around the World and share their photography and thoughts of the places they loved. The rest has been hard work, learning, lots of adjustments and brainstorming.

I'm always looking for creative ideas that will help the site grow and make UHave2Go! better everyday. Please leave your feedback Here

Caixa Forum by Herzog and de Meuron

Madrid, Spain

One very interesting building to visit in Madrid is the Caixa Forum, designed by Herzog and De meuron. Outside, it caught my attention by its pure geometry, rough materials and contrast with the surrounding buildings. At a first impression, I wouldn't say this is a beautiful building, but it does attracts you and invites you to access it. The main volume is suspended on concrete columns leaving a very low ceiling exterior space that - in my interpretation - prepares you to be more aware of the double height ceilings at the first floor (second level) in the lobby of the museum. Form the entry level, an interesting shaped stair leads to the second level, where the main access to all galleries are. That afternoon we were lucky enough to get free entrance and happily surprised by a quite unique exhibition: a parallel between Salvador Dali and Garcia Lorca's drawings, and the influence between one another. Good friends Lorca and Dali developed ideas together and maintain a solid communication throughout their artistic careers. Didn't know a lot about this in Lorca's career, but as it became clear during the exhibit, his genius went well beyond his prolific work as a writer. Look for details, and it's worth checking out the cafe in the upper level. I you are in Madrid and enjoy small good art galleries, The Caixa Forum is a place where you have to go.
