What is UHave2Go!

Hey! Thanks for checking us out. Uhave2Go! is a photo sharing website for travel and photography lovers, and for everyone else in between who enjoy going places and discovering the new. Uhave2go collects travel photos and information about those places, events or activities you loved, and the goal is to become the go to site for inspiration to travel around the World and make the most out of the places you go to. Basically, inspire you to go... wherever it is that you want to go.

It all started with a few hundred travel photos from my trips through Asia and South America and one idea, UHave2Go!, a site that would be inspiration for others to travel around the World and share their photography and thoughts of the places they loved. The rest has been hard work, learning, lots of adjustments and brainstorming.

I'm always looking for creative ideas that will help the site grow and make UHave2Go! better everyday. Please leave your feedback Here

Usually I start my museum posts by saying how lucky I was to coincide with "x" exhibition right at the time of my visit. Now I know that the good fine art museums like this one, have amazing exhibitions almost all the time, it's not me or the universe conspiring to make my day wonderful, it's them and their constant hard work. As an Architect I have to say that I am an admirer of Renzo Piano's work and this building have some interesting moments, like the terrace in the upper level, wonderful natural lighting in the atrium, a beautiful staircase and a very easy to navigate structure. But that put aside, I still enjoyed my visit to the Art Institute of Chicago for its content. The Art Institute has one of the world's most notable collections of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist art in its permanent collection. During my visit they had a fascinating exhibition on Matisse, called "Matisse: Radical Invention" which consisted of a research study authored by The Art Institute of Chicago and The Museum of Modern Art in New York... "Matisse: Radical Invention, 1913 - 1917 moves beyond the surface of these paintings to examine their physical production and the essential context of Matisse's studio practice..." Of course, this short article is about the Art Institute of Chicago, not about Matisse, but just to make a point about the first class quality of work they present and its relevance in the Art world. Visiting Chicago, you have to put the Art Institute on your schedule, a great Art Museum and a great building.
